Our Pride of the Plains vision has been developed through our work with the revised New Zealand Curriculum and was launched with our children at the start of this school year.
Dunsandel School is a Decile 9 Year 1-6 school which is situated about 20 minutes south of Christchurch. We are a contributing primary school with the majority of our children attending Ellesmere College when they leave us. We have six classes, a supportive Board of Trustees and PTA and 144 awesome children. The school is well supported by the wider community and is an important part of the Dunsandel area.
